All students at Göttingen University get a studIT account and a password with their student ID at the chip card issuing point. You can log in to your account on every computer at our locations. Mostly the account is composed of your first and last name (firstname.lastname) and a password.

You received you password and a PIN/TAN list on a supplementary sheet in combination with your student ID (“chip card”). After your first login we strongly recommend to change your password immediately to a personal password at the self-service functions. Please make sure that your password is safe, that is to say use additional characters and numbers as well.
